Impreza
The Subaru Impreza is independently recognized for its safety, engineering quality and practicality, and forms one of the most comprehensive small car range’s on the market. Sharing the All-Wheel Drive system that has made the Impreza WRX a legend on the world rallying scene, the normally-aspirated Imprezas are available with a 16-valve 2.0 litre horizontally opposed boxer engine in the GX and RX sedan and hatch; the RV hatch and a 2.5 litre version in the RS sedan. Impreza WRX
Widely regarded as one of the world’s great performance cars, the Impreza WRX has achieved legendary status through incredible success on the Australian and world rallying scenes. The latest versions are equipped with a comprehensive keypad immobiliser alarm system, while gear ratios have been refined in manual versions for even better performance – and an automatic is now available in new generation Impreza. Capable of 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds in manual guise, Impreza WRX’s 2.0 litre horizontally opposed boxer engine pumps out an incredible 160 kilowatts of power at 5,600rpm, complemented by huge pulling power of 292 Newton metres of torque at 3,600rpm.

Liberty
The multi-award winning Liberty is available in a choice of GX, RX and Heritage sedan and wagon, and twin-turbo B4 sedan. As with all Subaru vehicles, at its core is the renowned All-Wheel Drive system, part of Subaru’s famous triple A safety pack that also includes dual front airbags and anti-lock brakes (ABS). All Libertys are powered by Subaru’s horizontally opposed boxer engines – the GX by a 2.0-litre version, the RX and Heritage by a 2.5 litre and the high-performance B4 by a twin-turbo 2.0 litre producing a mighty 190 kilowatts of power at 6,400rpm. Standard features across the range include power steering, windows and mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning and remote central locking, while Liberty B4 adds a comprehensive keypad immobiliser alarm system and premium brand McIntosh sound system.

Forester
The all new 2003 Subaru Forester is here. The heart of the many changes is a more powerful 112kW 2.5 litre engine. Low friction internal components maximise fuel efficiency, reduce power loss and produce low emissions. Forester combines active and passive safety features with vehicle balance, to make the new Forester safer than ever before. Standard equipment includes dual stage front airbags, ABS and improved safety belts. A lower centre of gravity, significantly increased body rigidity and retuned suspension add to the impressive safety package. New Forester has more interior space than before, providing more leg room, increased storage space from 25 compartments and a height adjustable driver's seat. Air conditioning and an in-dash CD player are standard features. Theft protection has also been upgraded while the XS Luxury pack offers optional leather and an electric sunroof. |
